June 9, 2000

Today is Friday, and this was our last couple hours in Beijing, China. We are going to Singapore for a one night lay over. We got picked up at 5:30 in the morning. We had to catch the airplane to Singapore at 8:30 in the morning. We got there sometime early in the afternoon. We are staying at the YMCA, it is a really nice place. With a swimming pool, laundry room, and business center. That afternoon we did laundry, and checked our e-mail, and I worked on some of my work. Since we had a fast connection. I got to send a lot of my work and answer question there. That night we went to a Hard Rock Cafe (Singapore), by taxi. The food was pretty good. We also saw a Plant Hollywood, but we didn't go inside or anything. We went for a walk around where the Hard Rock Cafe was, and we found a little shopping center. Well since one of our suitcase wheels broke, we saw another suitcase in really good condition so we brought it. Then we took a taxi back to the hotel, and went to bed.
